So sorry for the lack of updates but this mom of 2 gig doesn't allow for a lot of free time these days. You go from the exhausted days of third trimester to beyond exhaustion with a newborn.
Well he's here, our healthy baby boy made his debut Monday, March 5 at 11:58 am. I delivered at 38w5d. He was a healthy 6 lbs 14 oz. Recovery went well for me. I was released from the hospital after two nights and almost 3 weeks into recovery I'm pretty much pain free. Baby boy has an appointment this week so I will update you on his 3 week progress.

The Nesting Bug Has Bitten?
I knew something was weird when I first woke up this morning. Upon getting out of bed after another rough night, I wanted to immediately clean our master bathroom. I knew I couldn't do too much because the little princess had gymnastics this morning. However when I went downstairs I had to go to the garage to look for the princess DVDs that I have not been able to find since our move. Well while in the garage, I was bothered by some boxes that were just out of order, so the only reasonable thing to do was put them where they needed to go. So fast forward to the princess nap time. I started cleaning our bedroom and felt a little dizzy therefore I laid down and eventually fell asleep. Upon waking up I immediately felt the urge to clean so that's what I did. I also managed to knock out laundry, run to the grocery, start dinner and take the princess to swim class. After getting the princess down for bedtime I continued my streak, I swept, mopped, baked for Preschool snack tomorrow. If you can't tell I'm very proud of myself. These past few weeks I haven't had the energy to cook dinner let alone clean or do anything else. It also makes me nervous that our prince could be making his appearance sooner than later. I wonder how long this "nesting" energy will stick around? I can use a few more days like today!
Oh and by the way, I will be 35 weeks in about 23 minutes. Time is ticking!
