Mother's Day and Week 36

For mother's day Ray and I went to Wilmington to see my mom and family and to also have our final baby shower. It was great to see family members that I don't get to see often and to have some of my favorite foods along with opening more baby stuff. We got a variety of gifts, including; clothes, gift cards, Gabby's 1st pair of Nike's (Aunt T), diapers, wipes, etc. We had so much fun although it was a short trip and I did not get to enjoy the warm weather in Wilmington like I wanted, especially seeing the beach.



Mother's Day, I also hit the 36 week mark. This means as of today (Tuesday), I am 5 days away from being full-term in my pregnancy, meaning I can go into labor at any time without the doctor's trying to intervene. I'm so excited and can not wait. I also experienced my first full day of Braxton Hicks contractions which are contractions that have nothing to do with labor but they help get your body ready for labor. It's kind of like practice for both my body and me. I go to the doctor tomorrow to measure to see if there's any progress, which they did not do last week. So we'll see! I'll update later and hopefully have pictures to post from the shower as well. RAY I NEED A NEW CAMERA! :-)
