Week 25. . . Following Doctors Order

So yesterday evening and all day today, I have been experiencing very mild cramping, like menstrual cramps. I'm not spotting or anything so I wasn't too alarmed just curious so to speak. I wasn't sure it this was normal or not so I called my doctor at work to see if I should have to do anything. The nurse told me to go home, put my feet up, take some tylenol and drinks lots of fluids. Other than that week 25 is going great. I'm enjoying every moment of being pregnant, the ups and downs. My most favorite part is feeling her move around. I feel her all over the place now. Her kicks, nudges, etc are stronger and Ray enjoys touching and feeling her as well. Our baby girl should be about 2 lbs. and about 15 inches long now. Here's what's going on at 25 weeks.

Happy Valentine's Day

I just have to start off by saying I had a wonderful Valentine's day. It started off at school where my kids showered me with gift and candy on Friday.

On Saturday, Valentine's Day, I did not have to lift a finger. Ray did all the laundry for me and folded it and put it away. Then he served me breakfast in bed. Followed by Tulips being delivered around 12pm. Around 4 pm I left because Ray wanted me to leave home before we went to dinner that evening around 6 to do whatever. I figured he was up to something but was not prepared for what he had in store. Here's some pictures to show what all he did for me! This was the best Valentine's day and I told Ray he has a lot to live up next year. haha :-) Enjoy

As you can see we DID NOT go out to dinner. While I was out Ray was out arranging all of this to make it my bestest, most favorite, Valentine's Day!

Week 24 (Six months Pregnant)

This week is week 24 for us! We have about 16 weeks left in the pregnancy..hard to believe! I can now say I'm Six Months pregnant. I'm continuing to feel her everyday and more on a routine basis. Daddy also gets a kick out of being able to feel her move as well. I went in last week for a check up and I've gain about 15 lbs so far. The great thing about the weight gain is that it's mostly all my belly not really showing in my face or anywhere else for that matter. The one thing I wanted to do during my pregnancy was to workout some, but here lately I've been very lazy. After dealing with 15 4-year-old all day I'm tired when I get home and all I want to do is sit and rest. This week I have also notice that my feet are beginning to hurt after standing most of the day at work, I forget that I'm heavier than normal and now my feet are trying to remind me haha. Here's a belly shot at 24 weeks and article:

23 weeks

So this week I'm in my 23rd week of pregnancy. This is considered the end of my 5th month or the beginning of my 6th month depending on who you ask and how you look at it. "Baby Girl" likes to move around (a lot!) which has been a really fun experience. I find that the more I feel her move and squirm, the more likely I am to end up talking to her. Ray is now able to feel her move although it's not as strong as I feel it. Also this past weekend, he got to see her without having to touch my belly. It's very cool seeing my belly jump. Everyday this becoming more real and I'm more anxious to meet her, although I do not want her to arrive anytime soon. I am content knowing God has this all under control and planned pregnancy for 40 weeks and since he Always makes better choices than I do, I'm fine with that!
Here in NC we have also been experiencing some warm weather for the past few days. It's so NICE! I'm so ready for the time to change where our days are longer and for warmer weather. The change in season to Spring is also my last trimester. It's hard to believe I'm more than half way over my pregnancy and our baby will be here in late May early June.

Just a little note, Ray and me took our first Prenatal class this past weekend. It was CPR. I have been trained in CPR numerous time however this was Ray's first time. It was nice seeing other couples as well as doing something together to help benefit our child. We have a few more to attend before the baby gets here which include, Breastfeeding, Pain Relief, Birth and Baby (which includes a tour of the hospital and nursery).

Alright! That's all for now. Here's an idea of what she may look like this week, as well as the weekly article:
