30+ weeks

So week 30 has almost come and gone. I'm 30 weeks and 4 days today. Not much has changed since last week other than I'm on SPRING BREAK, therefore I am supposed to get to rest more this week but I'm not finding that to happen. I've been picking up the house (luckily we did our spring cleaning a couple of weekends ago) to keep it tidied up. And since I haven't had any showers yet and my Ray will not let me paint there hasn't been much nesting going on in the nursery. It still looks the same way since we got the furniture in December of 08. I can actually say we got our baby's furniture last year. WOW! A great milestone has been completed, my GRANDMA Peggy, has completed the babies crib bedding and I couldn't be more excited and thankful...from the pictures I've seen it's top of the line and go for MILLIONS in a boutique store (although no will get their hands on this custom bedding :-) )
Another task of mine this week is to finish up interviewing pediatricians as well as child care centers. We've already visited a pediatrician a couple of weeks ago whom we liked a lot, but we wanted to check on one more before we make our decision. Also, child care, yes I have a degree in Child Development and Education, yes other parents seek my advice on their children, yes I have taken care of over 100 children in my lifetime, so I am more than qualified to care for my own child, the downside to all of that, I'm not paid for it when it's my own. Because we're not sure about whether I will be able to stay home or have to return to work, I'm having to do what most Americans with newborns have to do and that's look for quality child care for our little one if her dad and mom are both working. Due to the fact that I do not have a lot of family here or friends to help watch her I have to look at other options. Believe me, I'm not happy about this but I have to do what's best for my family. Nonetheless, I'm visiting a couple of child care centers this week to see if I can possibly find somewhere that meets majority of my requirements. AND because infant rooms feel up so fast I have to get us on a waiting list and pray it lines up with when I have to return to work if I have to return to work.

Sorry for the yet another long post, I never think I have that much to say until I start typing. Well here's what going on for week 30 and what Baby Bristow looks like. *Don't know when I will be able to take anther belly shot, but trust my it's growing!!
